Una coppia di ragazzi americani, Michael e Cathy, giunge nell'isola greca di Santorini per godersi una vacanza a contatto con la meravigliosa natura e lo splendido mare. Ma Michael incontra Louise, una ragazza francese che lavora come archeologa sull'isola, e inizia con lei una relazione. Quando Cathie lo scopre, dapprima è scontro con la rivale. Pian piano, però, Michael, incapace di scegliere tra le due ragazze, riesce a convivere con entrambe, fino alla nascita di un rapporto a tre.
